Enjoy a Wedding (Day 62-77)

Weddings make us think about a life together is better than life alone.

Paper Doll Wedding 1954
It’s ironic that I have not been to a wedding in years and now it’s a wedding fest in October.  This was a new challenge to travel so far  and visit  two new destinations (California and Utah) in an effort  enjoy  two wedding occurring during my writing hiatus (Day 62-77).  My blog inspiration, Everything I Need to Know I  Learned From a Little Golden Book, reminds us to not “forget to enjoy your [a] wedding.”

Reflection
A wedding is such a hopeful moment when two people   start a new chapter as one.  You still feel  that way whether it's there first or a multiple time down the aisle.  A wedding conjures  a  romantic blissful feeling and these weddings both had an overabundance  of that. There was  so much love on the faces of our friends in California  and  the setting was fairytale picture perfect in Utah. Now I am getting sappy  but they both were truly beautiful weddings.  A wedding  does not make a marriage but I see these two couples ridding off into the sunset of  happily ever after.

Spiritual Reflection
And further, you will submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives you will submit to your husbands as you do the Lord. (Ephesians 5: 21,22) And you husbands must love your wives with the same love Christ showed the church..In the same way, husbands out to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man is actually loving himself when he loves his wife. (Ephesians 5:25 and 28).
