Pittsburgh Dance Council celebrates its 50th season with a bold new series of diverse programming. Recently, Path of Miracles by the San
Francisco company, ODC/Dance, brought movement into a spiritual setting (the
historic Trinity Cathedral) and merged it with the Mendelssohn Choir of
Pittsburgh for an interactive reflective journey of dance.
A way to survive the empty nest and a "cracked "relationship with a fun daily challenge of new experiences, reflections, sources, and some biblical guidance. I hope this blog which offers a fun journey to survive by trying something new, either vicariously or by doing, will result in a survival tool kit to replace the past familiar doing, giving, and/or incorporating the interest of your child or your long gone love interest, with some new self interest(s).

Day 350-Deborah Cox-Trust Cabaret Series-Life is a Cabaret Oh Boy, Come to the Cabaret
Deborah Cox, Grammy Award nominated, R & B/ Pop
recording artist and actress jump started the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Cabaret Series. Trust Cabaret brings a variety of top
notch artists to Pittsburgh on five Monday nights for an up close and personal musical
experience. Deborah Cox in the Broadway
musical “The Bodyguard” filled the Benedum Theater last year with her
powerhouse voice in the role originally played by Whitney Houston. I was excited to experience her new cabaret
show in the intimate venue of the Greer Cabaret Theater. As Liza Minelli in the role of Sally Bowles from the iconic musical Cabaret would say-“life is a cabaret oh boy,
come to the cabaret."
